Standards for Reward Payment to Reporters

  • 1. Eligible Recipients

External public (excluding Chemgas Korea employees)

  • 2. Reward Criteria

Maximum Reward Amount : KRW 10 Million

If the report leads to the recovery or increase of direct revenue or reduction of costs for the company, such as compensation for damages or recovery of unjust enrichment, the amount is designated as the basis for the reward value, and the following payment standards are applied.

When the report results in a loss reduction effect for the company and the corresponding amount is recovered

    Reward Basis Amount Reward Payment
    Less than KRW 10 Million
    None
    KRW 10 Million or More
3% of the Reward Basis Amount (Maximum KRW 10 Million)

If the effect of increased profit or reduced loss occurs intermittently, the entire amount is used as the basis; if it occurs over a long period, the estimated annual amount is used as the basis.
The amount discovered additionally during the investigation is excluded from the calculation of the reward value.

If the basis for the reward value cannot be calculated, or if there is no (or could not be any) recovered amount due to the report, no reward will be paid.

  • 3. Exclusions from Reward Payment

The reported content is found to be untrue or difficult to verify due to lack of evidence.

Reporting on unethical conduct not related to work with external stakeholders.
However, direct losses to the company such as embezzlement of public funds or theft of company assets are compensable.
