and strives to minimize environmental risks arising from the entire process of manufacturing, storage and sales.
Direction for practice
In order to minimize the environmental impact that occurs throughout the process of manufacturing, storage, and sales as a display and semiconductor material company, we establish and implement the direction for practicing environmental management as follows:
CGK strives to reduce waste in the workplace and promote recycling. For waste generated at each workplace, we are working to minimize the use of resources and maximize the reuse of resources.
Furthermore, we are striving to optimize recycling methods by segmenting waste by type and nature.
We are also managing waste that cannot be recycled through legal companies to ensure minimal impact on the environment.
CGK strives to reduce the amount of water and wastewater used. Most of it is for domestic use, and we are operating to minimize the amount of wastewater generated. We are also doing our best to continuously manage the water through water quality tests in cooperation with professional contractors on a regular basis to ensure that employees in the workplace drink clean water.
When the process is in operation, CGK strives to minimize air pollutants from the source by replacing raw/ subsidiary materials.
Prevention facilities are maintained in optimal condition through periodic inspections. This makes us do our best to ensure that pollutants are discharged below legal emission standards.
CGK strives to prevent accidents in advance through a thorough chemical management process, because chemical accidents may directly lead to human and material losses.
Through continuous process improvement, we replace highly hazardous/dangerous substances with eco-friendly substances, and provide education to workers on behavior guidelines and work safety rules to prevent exposure on a regular basis.
Direction for practice
Under the recognition that safety and health management is the foundation for sustainable survival and growth, CGK has established a safety and health vision system to minimize risks that may arise from product production and operational activities, thereby continuously promoting the following to realize a “zero-accident, eco-friendly workplace.”
CGK actively promotes education on safety and health-related laws and management regulations,
and all employees make every effort to comply with all regulations on safety and health activities.
Through establishment and operation of safety management appropriate to the situation, CGK internalizes the value of ‘safety first’ across management activities, and continuously improves and supplements safety management according to changes in the internal and external environment.
CGK periodically conducts safety promotion for all employees to foster safety awareness, and further actively participates in safety activities to fulfill its social responsibility.
CGK actively finds and improves harmful or dangerous matters to prevent industrial and safety accidents, and continuously improves to create a pleasant and safe workplace.
